Superbolt mt style mechanical tensioners
Superbolt MTSX Style Tensioners provide extremely high preloads on large bolts or studs. Relatively little jackbolt torque is required by using JL-Moly paste lbricant. WE suggest using MTSX nuts on bolts and studs with a thread diameter greater than 4".. Safe, accurate and economical. Over 30 styles available.

Selection Guide:

  • MTSX – Standard nut-style tensioner
  • Standard Dimension range: 4-1/4" - 6" (M110-M160)
  • Specials avaiable for sizes over 6" (M160)
  • Approx. bolt stress depending on size: 450 to 700 N/mm2 (60 to 100 ksi)
  • Temperature range: 0 to 500ºF (-10 to 250ºC)
  • Surface treatment: Several Corrosion Protection Options Available
